Vodafone CEO’s Nofoasaefa Satish Sharma joins in on the Apia Hash House Harriers Samoa Perimeter Relay 2020 to help raise money for the Goshen Trust Mental Health Services.

“The experience for me was remarkable. Having joined in on the Nightwalkers group, we had one aim and that was to reach the finished line. With the support of my Family in India, my Vodafone family, and everyone from Apia Hash House Harriers, the  8hour night walk from Le Vasa Resort to Sinalei Resort was fun and memorable.”  says Vodafone’s CEO, Nofoasaefa Satish Sharma.

Aligning with Vodafone’s “Always more” on community, Vodafone presented a $2,000 cash donation to Apia Hash House Harriers which will be wholeheartedly donated to support the Goshen Trust. The Goshen Trust exists to help mental health consumers, and their families and friends, gain access to love, care and support needed to help them be emotionally, mentally and physically.

“Vodafone is proud to provide a valuable contribution towards a foundation that helps provide professional support towards the mentally impaired. It’s an issue we find too prideful to talk about. It’s a conversation we must hold regularly within our homes. This is all for a good community cause and we’re always more on support towards our community.”  He added.

“On behalf of the Apia Hash House Harriers, we are really grateful towards Vodafone, not only for the generous donation of $2,000 tala but it was also great to have the Vodafone CEO Nofoasaefa Satish Sharma participate by walking the whole 42 kilometer walk to help raise Mental Health awareness. And we look forward to more involvement & partnership with Vodafone in the near future.” says Nynette Sass on behalf of Apia Hash House Harriers.

Staying true to its newly launched “Always more” Campaign, Vodafone (since its launch date) have well invested over $370,000 tala worth of monetary and in-kind support within our Communities and the Global Telecom Giant is saying that it’s only just the beginning of many more to come.

“Support Vodafone who is ALWAYS MORE on community support – start by making that switch today.” concluded Vodafone Samoa CEO, Nofoasaefa Satish Sharma.
