Terms & Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Headings in this document are included for ease of reference, and do not affect interpretation in any way.
  2. The promoter is Vodafone Samoa Limited, Maluafou, Upolu, Samoa (telephone number +685 67788) (Promoter).
  3. PROMOTION DURATION.
    1. All references to time in this document are a reference to the local time in Samoan time on the date stated.
    2. The promotion commences at 26th of MAY 2021. (“Commencement Date”) at the store opening hour
    3. The promotion ends on 30th of JUNE 2021. (“End Date”) at the store closing hour
  4. ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER.
    1. Entry is open only to Samoan residents aged 18 years and over, and who :
      1. Joins Vodafone Samoa as new customer with a new SIM card under prepaid mobile, prepaid data and new individual postpaid capped plan buying device from Vodafone retail store with upfront payment or Handset Finance option.
    2. The following are excluded from the Promotion:
      1. Any Vodafone employees who buys device under the employee scheme
      2. Corporate customers who are given device as a part of corporate deal.
  5. ENTRY INTO THE PROMOTION.
    1. On purchase of Mobile Phone, Router, Mifi & Tablet from any Vodafone Samoa company owned retail store >=$200
    2. The purchase should be upfront payment or Handset Finance option approved by Vodafone Samoa
  6. ASSURED BENEFITS
    1. Customers will be given 10 quantity x $20 e-top voucher redeemable from July 2021 till April 2022
    2. Only ONE voucher can be redeemed once in calendar month as per month mentioned in the voucher at any Vodafone Samoa company owned retail store.
    3. The customer need to produce ORIGINAL physical voucher at any Vodafone retail store after which $20 benefit will be given to the customer for that particular month.
    4. The $20 benefit will be provided only in the new phone number issued during the purchase of the device with a SIM Card.
    5. The benefit is not transferable to any other person or phone number .
    6. If the customer looses or damages the voucher issued during purchase of no replacement voucher will issued and the offer will cease to exist.
    7. If the customer is unable to redeem a voucher in any month for whatever reason, it will lapse and cannot be redeemed at a later date.
  7. Benefit must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a benefit receiver is unable to use the benefit as stated
  8. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend or modify the benefit.
  9. A benefit cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a benefit that the benefit receiver accepts the conditions of use of that benefit.
  10. If the benefit (or part of the benefit) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the benefit (or that part of the benefit) with a benefit to the equal value and/or specification.
  11. Any loss suffered by the Promoter, for example Issuing Media Statements, or any other act that damages the reputation of the promoter or otherwise shall be compensated by the benefit receiver.
  12. Taking the benefit is subject to any prevailing terms and conditions. No compensation will be payable if the benefit receiver are unable to use any element of the benefit as stated for whatever reason, including participation in certain activities for health, age, behavior or safety reasons. Any part of a benefit that is not taken for any reason is forfeited.
  13. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Name, photograph, Voice, Video of the benefit receiver will be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, without further remuneration. Benefit receiver consents to the Promoter to use information as specified for promotional purposes.
  14. Entrants consent to the Promoter using personal information provided in connection with this promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the promotion and awarding any benefit (including to third parties involved in the promotion and any applicable statutory authorities) and to conduct marketing activities.
  15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
    1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
    2. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or benefit claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in benefit value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a benefit receiver or entrant; or (f) taking of and/or participation in the benefit.
    3. As a condition of accepting the benefit OF $20, the benefit receiver must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or benefit suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
